The "loggia" that Cardinal Durini commissioned slightly above the house on the central part of the promontory is the true architectural invention of Balbianello; briefly, is stands parallel to the peninsula and simultaneously offers fine views of the landscapes of Tremezzina, the true heart of the Lario area, and the bay opposite towards the island of Comacina. The "loggia" is flanked by just two symmetrical rooms: the library and the music room (today the map room). The "loggia" welcomed Giuseppe Parini for many hours, to whom the Cardinal dedicated his Ode "Gratitude".

	Opening times	Middle to MARCH - Middle to NOVEMBER: 10 am - 6 pm Open every day, except Mondays and Wednesday (unless public holidays). Last entrance time: half an hour before closing.
	Travel information	Lake boat from Lenno. Boat service from Como with overall discount ticket. Every Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: pedestrian access is also allowed from Lenno (about 1 km). Signposts in the Church Square. By trains “LeNord”, Milan branch: get off to Como Lake Railway Station. For trains timetables visit the website. All-in tickets for train + boats are available :The LeNORD tickets can be bought at all the station ticket offices. It is valid on the day of issue only. Ticket includes a journey in train and boat with a reduced price.
