Surrounded by a magnificent Italian garden, Villa Menafoglio Litta Panza in Biumo was built in the mid-XVIII century by Marquis Paolo Antonio Menafoglio and extended in the neo-classic period by architect Luigi Canonica, commissioned by Duke Pompeo Litta Visconti Arese. The villa is famous throughout the world for the collection of contemporary art that Giuseppe Panza di Biumo began creating in the 1950s. The halls and the huge stables today exhibit more than one hundred works by contemporary artists, as well as rich XVI-XIX century furnishings and an important collection of African and pre-Columbian art.

	Opening times	FEBRUARY - DECEMBER: 10 am - 6 pm Open every day, except Mondays (unless public holidays) LAST ENTRANCE TIME: 45 minutes before closing.
	Travel information	The Villa is situated 50 km north of Milan. A8 "Laghi" Milan-Varese Motorway to Varese "centro". Then follow the signs for the Villa. With trains LeNORD, branch Milan: get off at Varese Nord Railway Station, continue with bus “linea A”(departing from Piazzale Trieste, opposite the FS Railway Station ), get off at the end. For trains schedule visit the website. 	Entrance ticket	ADULTS: € 8.00. CHILDREN (4-12 years): € 3.00. PARK ONLY: € 2.00. FAI MEMBERS and NATIONAL TRUST MEMBERS: free entrance. VARESE RESIDENTS: free entrance to the Park. Prices may vary if special events or exhibitions are held.
